Our Commitment to Safety & Compliance
In the world of luxury travel, safety and compliance are not features; they are the absolute foundation upon which every memorable experience is built. At Next Bali Lombok, we have a zero-compromise policy on safety. Our operations are structured to not only meet but exceed the rigorous regulatory standards set by Indonesian authorities and international best practices. This page provides a transparent overview of our legal standing, certifications, and the safety protocols that protect our guests and our team.
Corporate & Regulatory Standing
We operate with full legal and financial transparency as a registered Indonesian entity under our parent company, Juara Holding Group.
- Legal Entity: We are a legally registered Perseroan Terbatas (PT), fully compliant with Indonesian company law.
- Tourism License (SIUP-Pariwisata): We hold a valid Tanda Daftar Usaha Pariwisata (TDUP) / Surat Izin Usaha Perdagangan (SIUP) for tourism services, issued by the Indonesian government, which authorizes us to operate as a tour and travel provider. Our license number is available for inspection upon request.
- Tax Compliance (NPWP): We are a registered taxpayer with a Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP) and are fully compliant with all national and regional tax obligations.
- Mandatory Staff Insurance: All our employees, including vessel crew and administrative staff, are registered and covered by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (social security and employment insurance) and BPJS Kesehatan (national health insurance), as mandated by Indonesian law.
Maritime Operations: Exceeding Standards on the Water
Our maritime safety protocols are managed by our Director of Operations and are strictly enforced across our entire partner fleet.
- Vessel Registration & Seaworthiness: Every vessel we use is legally registered in Indonesia and holds a valid Surat Ukur (Tonnage Certificate) and Pas Besar (Certificate of Nationality). Before every departure, the vessel must obtain a Surat Persetujuan Berlayar (SPB), or Port Clearance, from the local harbor master (Syahbandar), certifying it is seaworthy for the intended voyage.
- Captain & Crew Certification: All our captains hold, at a minimum, an Ahli Nautika Tingkat IV (ANT IV) license, with most holding higher certifications. All crew members are certified in Basic Safety Training (BST) as per International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards.
- On-Board Safety Equipment: Every vessel is equipped with SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) compliant equipment, including a regularly serviced inflatable life raft, an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), GPS, AIS (Automatic Identification System), VHF radio, and more than enough life jackets for all passengers and crew.
- Real-Time Monitoring: Our entire fleet is equipped with GPS tracking, allowing our operations center to monitor their position, speed, and status in real-time throughout their journey across the Lombok Strait.
Aviation Operations: Safety in the Air
For our heli-transfer services, we partner exclusively with operators who meet the stringent requirements of the Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA / Ditjen Hubud).
- Air Operator Certificate (AOC): We only work with helicopter operators who hold a valid AOC Part 135, which certifies them for commercial charter operations. We independently verify the status of this certificate directly with the DGCA.
- Pilot Experience & Licensing: We require all pilots to hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL-H) and to have significant flight hours specifically within the Bali-Lombok region, ensuring familiarity with local weather and terrain.
- Flight Planning & Control: Every flight is conducted in accordance with Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and is filed with AirNav Indonesia, the national air traffic control authority, ensuring it is monitored and integrated within the national airspace.
Emergency Preparedness & Insurance
- Emergency Action Plan (EAP): We have a comprehensive EAP that covers all potential scenarios, from medical emergencies to severe weather changes. Our crew is drilled regularly on these procedures.
- Comprehensive Liability Insurance: Beyond the mandatory government insurance (Jasa Raharja), all our services are covered by a multi-million dollar comprehensive public liability insurance policy from a top-tier international underwriter.
Your safety is our highest priority. This rigorous, multi-layered approach to compliance and safety is our promise to you. For specific questions about our protocols, please contact our operations team at bd@juaraholding.com.
